SyncroSoft Emu is an unofficial dongle emulator created by the underground cracking group Team H2O in the mid-2000s. It was designed to mimic the SyncroSoft (later known as eLicenser) hardware authorization system used by various audio applications and plug-ins of that era, allowing certain legacy Windows titles to launch as if a valid USB license key were present. The tool targeted older protection schemes and typically worked only with specific versions of software and drivers from that time.

This emulator is not an official product of SyncroSoft or Steinberg, and it is widely regarded as a crack. Distribution and use can violate software licenses and local laws, may conflict with legitimate licensing systems, and can expose users to security risks due to unofficial packaging and lack of updates or support.

SyncroSoft Emu is developed by Team H2O and is used by 80 users of Software Informer. The names of program executable files are cledx.exe, cledx.exe, cledx .exe, EMU48.EXE and emu8086.exe. This particular product is not fit to be reviewed by our informers.
